we are experiencing a strange behavioron Qlikview 12.10, on windows 2012 server x64, with NFTS security and IIS as web server on a separate server.
First case:
- A folder is secured on AD groups
- User is added in 1 AD group : he doesn't see the application in Access Point
- User is added in the folder security : he doesn't see the application in Access Point
- If we wait long enough (hours), user sees the application in Access Point and can open it
2nd case:
- A folder is secured on AD groups
- User belongs to AD group: user can see the application in Access Point and can open it
- User is removed from AD group : he still see the application in Access Point
- User try to open the application after removed from AD group : access is refused and now user no longer see the application in access point
3rd case:
- A folder is secured on AD groups
- User belongs to AD group: user can see the application in Access Point and can open it
- We add a new application in the folder : user can see the 2nd application and can open it without delay
So it really seems there is a cache somewhere, that memorizes which application is authorized for each user and is not refreshed when user goes on Access Point.
