Hi all,
I have a large "estate" of qlikview apps running on our accesspoint.
There is one user reporting that her own personal "Client" tab disappeared today , and then reappeared 2 hours later.
She is a superuser so has created many of her own objects.
To add some infrastructure technical details , the App is 80 meg and the meta data file is 27 meg
We have a 2 server cluster and are running Qlikview 12.3
In the Server Documents screen i can see all the sheets , bookmarks et.c created some of which are deprecated?
is there any value in removing/cleansing no longer used "meta data"
any other suggestions on how to mitigate tabs "disappearing" would be gratefully accepted
thanks in advance
Hi @timsaddler
Have you verified if the .shared file is corrupt ? Please refer to the following article:

Tim, here is a direct Help link related to shared/tshared files, if you guys are still using shared files, you may want to convert the one in question to a tshared file and see if that helps or not as well as run the cleaning process on that one to see if the log shows any bad objects found etc. The only other thing of which I can think is if the only issue was a user created object not appearing, it was likely an issue in access to shared file, and if that was the case, the QVS Event log should have an entry in it about that time indicating there was an issue reading the shared file... About the only additional guidance I can give you on top of what Nadia provided.
Regards,
Brett
