Qlikview section access built based on NT name still asking for password

Hi all,

I have qlikview dashboard for which section access is built on NT Name.

All users had access to dashboard based on there login name, however since past few days some of the users have started loosing access to dashboard and they are being asked for USER Id multiple times and are not being allowed to enter into the dashboard.

Nothing has changed on visibility sheet or dashboard based on access level and the accesses for the users are still the same which were earlier!

Can anyone tell what can be the issue???

Arjun, the best way to troubleshoot things is going to be to go into the app via Desktop Client and go into the Script where you will want to comment just the Section Access line such that the Section Access table will load into the normal/visible data model, which should then allow you to check the contents of the table to be sure things are loading as you think they are etc. and the links to data model, if you are also using Dynamic Data Reduction fields, is also working as expected.  The only thing of which I can think is if you do have Dynamic Reduction fields, but the users do not have any matching value in those fields, and the Strict Exclusion option is set in the Document Properties Open tab settings, then they would not be able to get into the app...  Best I have for the moment other than the following links that may help:

If this issue is happening only for few users, then check the AD side, if any changes were done to the login ids.
