Qlikview upgrade from 11.20 to April 2019

Is it possible to upgrade and migrate to new server , from 11.20 directly to April 2019, or must there be an intermittent upgrade ?

all of the documentation I can find specifies 11.20 to November 2017 +

An upgrade fro m11.20 to April 2019 is possible. The documentation for November 2017 + is aimed at 2017 + any later versions. 

I would recommend getting started with this article: How to Upgrade or Migrate from QlikView 11.20 to QlikView 12 and up (kb 000018975) .
