Reload Time in Publisher is more than the local refresh

Hi All,

Can someone please suggest what could be the reason for the reload time to increase in publisher.. I have an application if i try to run it in my local machine it takes just 2mins but i try to refresh the same using Publisher it takes almost 4 times the time taken to refresh the same in local machine.

The server RAM is 32GB and local RAM is 4GB.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

What version of Qlik you have?

did you see the document log and compare the same after reloading manually and reloading from server.

Can you attach both log files?

Hi,

By seeing the logs we can analyze where the exact issue is.

Hi,

You may even need to upgrade to latest version

Find the list if bugs fixed in 11.2 sr2

46944

QlikView - Reloads using 100% CPU and time to finish is much higher when parallel reload is turned on.

53037

Upgrading from v11 SR1 to v11 SR2 slows down reloading

58950

QV.exe - Increased demand for memory during reload in QV 11.2 SR1

Hi

Open QlikView Document in your Desktop.

Go to Setting --> Document properties --> General --> Select Generate log file.

save and reload your application.

Now you will find Document log in the same folder as that of your QlikView Application.

For server log.

Run the task through server --> once finished --> you will find the same in below path.

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log
