Hey folks!
I'm facing a real problem.
My Qlikview document uses incremental load; in the first run it usually takes 3-4 minutes, and after the that (qvds already generated), the document usually takes 30 sec-2 min (maximum) to execute offline (I mean, if I open it and manually execute it). Once I put the document on the server, the run time varies from 1-2 minutes to some hours! There is no reason for this to happen, and it has never happened before. We have already restarted the server, it seemed to get better on first run but now it seems to be the same. I have absolutely no idea of what could cause this. Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers,
Inês
How long it takes to reload the app in server
It's in the print screen. 30 minutes to hours.
Very strange - there is definitely no apparent reason for the delay in the logs that I can see. There doesn't seem to be any issue with the number of available reload engines or the amount of memory available on the system.
Can you check to see if there are any antivirus programs running? It's possible that you need to add exclusions for QlikView files and processes if they're getting held up by an on-access scan.
Is there any contention for CPU resources? In the job log you attached, I can see that there are 2 other reloads running when this one starts.
It may be worthwhile to try upgrading to a more recent release of QlikView as well.
