SCHEDULER IN QMC
Hi expert
I have a production( server1) server that have some qvw doc scheduler in the qmc,
i have another server(server2) that has the same estructure(it is a diary copy) but when i desactive and active the server 2, all function ok, the license are ok, the document asign are ok, but the only thing it has lost is the scheduler of document.
for example if a doc2 depend and reload after doc1 , this scheduler of reload it not exists in the server2, but it exist in the server1
i copy all the sctucture where the document are, i have to copy some file extra? like pgo? or .ini files to have exactly the same in the server 1 and server2?
thank you a lot
Good luck
Fernando

Hi,
Apart from thees 3 files
1) .pgo file consist the license details (session , document , user CAl)
2) .meta file contains document properties details (i.e , document category, distribution list information e.t.c)
3) .Shared file contains the details of all the shared object created by the user for the respected report.
you need to copy qvpr repository too.
located in below path
C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR

I Prefer all to replicate all tasks.
Make sure to take backup of new environment first.
If in any case you wan't to revert back.

You can move the QVPR, but you will have to edit and change the server names in the files.

Fernando,
the easy ways it is to use the xml viewer of the powertools ( Power Tools 1.2 for QlikView) look/search for the name of the original server and replace it with the new server name.
