Select one value works on developer tool but not on server

I am using the same list box on separate sheets. On one sheet, I want to allow all selections, so I use an alternate state such as all_values. On another sheet, I want to limit the selection on the same list box to one selection, so I check "only select one value" and use alternate state one_value. This works well in the developer tool. But when I put it on the server, it allows to select more than one value on both list boxes. Why would it act differently on the server?

Hi,

What version Of Qlik You use?

I tried with 11.2 sr6 and it worked fine.

I believe you need to look at QlikView upgrade.

Try setting a trigger in the document setting. When opening this application, one default value in that field with "one_value" alternate state will be selected.

Hi Mike

I have struck this with radio buttons, for some reason if no selection is made when you save it to the server it wipes the "only select one value" gets wiped so you need to reset it in the server copy but be aware to set it you will have to have a single option chosen.

The problem went away when I upgraded to 11.2.  I also found that when I placed a new copy of the .qvw file on the server, that I needed to completely close Internet Explorer/Access Point and re-open it before I would see the problem go away.
