I have an application that tries to connect via ODBC and when the server is maxed out (Our SQL Server I am pulling from that is) I get my QVS failure.
Is there a way to change the number of attempts on the QV server to connect and can I space them out. Currently I see it makes three attempts in the Event logs and then gives up.
I would like to see if I can change that to 5 or stick with 3 but space it out with a minute between each attempt. I was sure I came across this when setting the server up, but cannot find it again since.
Any direction would be helpful.
Oh! I know I could setup another task and duplicate the job on fail or at another period, but that seems inefficient if the server can take care of it.
