I have a new VM you need to install the QlikView 9 to migrate it to 11 ... I have a physical server that is in production, I wonder if I can get the schedules of the production server and play in the VM to make the simulation of migration ... Thank you.
You are not really going to like my answer, but from version 9 to 10 on different servers you can't. There is a feature in 10 and above that will allow you to do it.
- Get a VM Box
- Get Eval (Temp) keys from QlikTech
- Install same version V9 on this VM, or take a backup of your server and restore on VM
- Apply or change keys to Eval (Temp) keys on VM
- Upgrade
How do I get this eval key?
You will need to contact your account manager to get that.
Thanks! How can I import the schedules of the physical server to VM?

Sad but True... thanks...
If you backup and restore it should all be there. Otherwise you can copy xml files from c:/programdata/QlikTech folder of your phy server. Also search for power tools here in the forum. There are couple of utilities you may find useful in your exercise.
I'm installing version 9 in VM ... then I will migrate
I can not make a backup of the server and play on the VM, for infrastructure issues, I have to do it manually.
