The license key not applicable for this product

Hy there, 

we are trying to migrate Qlikview  11.20 to may 2021 - with a buyed license, where the support ended in juli 2021. 

So i installed the qlikview version may 2021, moved the edited qvpr folder to the new server and when applying the LEF with serial number and control number, i am recieving this error: 

Server failed to set license: QVS@(servername):  The license key not applicable for this product. 

Any advice is appreciated, thx.

Is there any chance you could share the serial number (NOT the control number) so we can inspect the attributes of the same?

ProductLevel in Lef file is 10 and the date is above may 2021. (31.07.2021)

@klincov_s  .  PRODUCTLEVEL;10;;2021-07-31 indicates that this license has expired and has not been renewed.

You will need to contact your Account Manager to incite a renewal.

Are you using May 2021 IR, Sr1 or Sr2?

Hello again.

I would say that with May 2021 IR it should still work, I just did a quick test and it was working, but as the license is expired you won't be able to upgrade to a newer version.

The license can not expire, because the license was purchased, back in the days where you could buy licenses. 
Now you have the subscription model.

I have installed  SR2.  Should i downgrade ? So uninstalling everything and installing may2021 sr1.

Hello @klincov_s ,

As SR1 is newer than the expiration date I would not expect it to work.

So, I would suggest testing May 2021 IR.
