It's been extremely hard to find relevant and current information on google since all the results are for Qlik Sense.
We've inherited a QlikView project that we'll be migrating to Qlik Sense Windows when we have more time and skills. For now we just want to understand the proper/recommended way of managing .qvw's.
It seems that the correct place to start a new .qvw is in Source Documents and if I'm correct, publishing somehow makes a copy in User Documents but I'm not at all clear on how that happens. I assume its via a Task assigned to the source document but my task fails so far.
So I guess what I'm really looking for a general list of steps to correctly run tasks on source docs and have them appear in the AccessPoint as a result and also have their modified date changed.
