Using AD, Local AND Custom Directory

Hello,

i need you help again.

We are using a QlikView Server 9 SR4. The servers settings are set to:

- QVS: DMS Authorization
- QVWS: Authentication: Login (Login address is not given!)

Our users want to login to the access point via Active Directory, Local Directory AND Custom Directory. After we erased the entry login address, we were able to connect to ap with ad and local directory users. When i login with a custom username the access point tells me that i am guest on the local system and not the custom username person.

Isn't it possible to use these three authorization modes? I know that custom usernames are provided with dms and login.htm as login page. But then AD and Local Dir is not working anymore.

What am i doing wrong?

Greetings

Frederik

it is possible that your scenario is doable if you have a login-page that lets the user login as AD, local or custom user. but the provided login page only supports custom users.

if you want to try it out i suggest you look at how the login page works so you see how to pass user information to the access point and how to authenticate a custom user.
