Been looking for more in-depth info about exactly what the improved use of multi-core CPUs means, without really finding any.
It is pretty clear that some operations are way faster in QV10, but exactly which ones? Knowing this might help (in the best of worlds) to write load scripts etc to make use of the multiple cores you may have. "Loading QVDs" have been mentioned as an operation that now benefits from multiple cores.. if so, is that for optimized loads, or also in other cases?
What about large joins, any chance of them being parallelized better than in QV9?
Any info about this out there?
