Why should you avoid running macros on the QlikView Server?

The general advice is to avoid executing macros on the QlikView Server, but my Question is if anyone could provide some more details as how and why this might be causing problems?

What are really the security implications of allowing macros and would those implications differ between small and larger size server environments?

There are some information in the QlikView Reference Manual but I would like to know what experience QlikView administrators have of allowing macros in their production environment, is this acceptable or would that be unthinkable?
