I understand that IAS is for public but can I put section access in the application to limit the data or information the viewer be able to see?
this is from book (very good)
Qlikview Server and Publisher, Stephen Redmond
"Qlikview Information Access Server license.
This is a special QlikView Server license that allows unlimited user access to one
QlikView document. As such, there are no user licenses associated with it. All
of the users must be anonymous and, as such, you can't secure the data to users,
and it must be open to all users. The website must be available publicly with no
authentication.

Thank you for your reply Massimo.
But server authentication is different from application section access right? In the normal server (SBE or EE), once you click an app in the AccessPoint, and if there is a section access in placed, it will prompt you to log in. Is the process in IAS different from this?
Hi Gener,
I would contact your account manager to find an answer to this question. That way you will documentation to support the answer.
