access denied the server (qvs) has no user cal

Hi All,

What are the reasons for getting this error while accessing applications from access point.

"access denied the server (qvs) has no user cal"

I resolved the issue with re assigning the cal to user. but i want to know the reasons for this.

Please help on this.

Its because of the corrupted CAL.pgo  file.


If you have a backup then replace and run else you have to add the CALs manually to resolve the issue.

I have experienced that virusscan can make the Cal.pgo file corrupted. So exclude all qlikview related folders to be scanned.

QlikView Server performance issues causing unplanned service restarts, resource exhaustion, hardware issues, etc. can all contribute to the corruption of .PGO files

Once you have all you CAL assignments configured, you should make a backup of the CalData.pgo* file so you can restore it if the issue happens again.

*CalData.pgo is the file which contains all of the assigned CAL information for your environment.
