Access Point thumbnails - Best practices?

Hi all,

I was wondering what your best practices are regarding to the Access Point thumbnails. In the Document Properties, Opening tab it is possible to select the Opening Sheet or an Image as a thumbnail for the Access Point.

For our QlikView documents we created a dedicated sheet to be used as thumbnail only. On this sheet we display for instance the Title, Company logo and a colour scheme to indicate the environment (Development, Acceptance, Production). We consider this as a best practice, but unfortunately the thumbnail is not always displayed correctly because apparently the size of the thumbnail is somehow dependent on the system, screen settings and resolution of the developer who last saved the document. This can however be corrected by adjusting the zoom levels of the sheet.

If we should use a picture in stead of the sheet it would mean we need to create a picture for each document / environment so we would lose a lot flexibility, but we would overcome the system dependency. We prefer the flexibility.

Any thoughts on how to display the thumbnails correctly when using a sheet for it without it being system dependent?

And any other best practices on how to use these thumbnails?
