AccessPoint Authorization

We have setup the AccessPoint with QV 9 and I would like all of our users to be able to access the site without having to authenticate to see the documents. We are using section access and would like to use that as the only method of security. I have changed the setting under System->Setup->QlikView Web Servers->AccessPoint to never authenticate, but whenever I do that I get a "No Documents" message on the index page.

QVEMS: system tab -> setup -> expand your QlikView Server, security tab set client authentication to always anonymous.

There is likely something else I'm missing...

So I tried changing that setting along with the setting to never authenticate and I still get the same message "No Documents"

My Server Authorization is set to NTFS and I have tried adding the IQVS user to the AccessPoint directory, but I still get the same message.

Tried this with the exception of adding the Anonymous user because I wasn't exactly sure how to do that, but I still get the same result.

Settings are involved in the process:

1. Disable Named User CALs for Anonymous Access.

2. Configure QlikView Server Authorization/Authentication (Found in QEMC on the System/Setup/ Security/ tab.)

3. QlikView Web Server Ajax access (Found in QEMC on the System/Setup/Ajax/ tab.)

4. Anonymous user addition to the document.

To Disable Named User CALs set next options:

In QEMC on the System/Licenses/QlikView Server/Client Access Licences(CALS)/General

Set identification : Machine Name

Turn on "Allow license lease"

Turn on "Allow dynamic CAL assignment"

Anonymous Access Using DMS Authorization

QEMC on the System/Setup/ Security/ tab

QlikView Server Authorization: "DMS"

QlikView Server Authentication: "Always Anonymous" or "Allow Anonymous"

on System/Setup/Ajax/ tab QlikView Web Server Ajax access: "AlwaysAnonymous" = selected

Restart QlikView server.

In QEMC on the Documents/User Documents/Authorization tab for the document add the Anonymous user using the "Edit User" dialog.

i had this problem here. I´m using QVS security instead NTFS, set to Always Anonymous.

But you also have to go to the documents page on the management console and authorize the "Anonymous" user for each document. Yes

Thanks guys I got it to work now. I believe the problem was that I needed to add the Anonymous user to that particular document. I did this by going to QEMC->Documents->User Documents->Authorization and adding the user. Once I did that along with the other settings it worked.
