Activating hidden sheets using buttons

My customers really like qlikview.  I keep getting requests for new sheets for different data items.  I don't want to end up with 50 or 60 individual sheets for them to have to pick from at the top of qlikview.  I have been trying to activate hidden sheets with buttons.  Is this possible?  If not, does anyone have an alternative I could try?

Sure, you can use the conditional show sheet in general tab of the sheet properties and use variables that you modify in button actions.
