Hello All,
Can anybody tell me what is the advantages or difference of Qlikview 11.20 SR12 compare to Qlikview 11.20 SR2 .
Thanks
About a 1000+ bug fixes (and some substantial performance improvements). Lost count somewhere along the release path, but SR11 on its own has 274 documented bug fixes. If you're not experiencing any problem at all running SR2, then you can stay with that release. Otherwise, it would be unwise to not upgrade asap. First check out the new release though (test set-up), before making any drastic moves.
When you talk about latest SR, you will get like:
1)New Feature depends
2) Several Bug Fixed that faced into last SR etc..
like this:
We are pleased to announce that the latest Service Release for Qlik Sense, SR 2.0.5 has been released and is now available on our download site. SR 2.0.5 contains several bug fixes, details of which can be found in the attached release notes. Please note there is no new functionality in this release, only fixes. In addition, if you are running on the Feature Track (2.1.1) you cannot install SR 2.0.5. As always, with any software upgrade please follow the recommended upgrade procedures and always make backups.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for respond. I want to ask you one think that after upgrade SR2 to SR12 is giving any problem to my existing qvw.
I mean any change will happened.
And Is there need to upgrade QV server also.
Thanks
I was mostly talking about QlikView Server, as an upgrade of this part has the highest impact on the largest number of users (usually). The larger part of bug fixes were for QVS anyway. And this is an upgrade that you do need to prepare for.
Testing/upgrading QV Desktop is much simpler: choose one developer PC, upgrade Desktop to SR12. let him/her perform as many document tests and if you detect any disturbing anomalies, downgrade to SR2. The upgrade/downgrade of QV Desktop takes all of 5 minutes. It's a bit different for QVS.
I'm not aware of any particular defects in SR12 that may spoil the fun. You can always search the community.
Best,
Peter
