Agile Methodologies?

Hello,

I've been implementing BI solutions for a couple of years now, but I want to know if there is any appropriate work methodology when developing Qlik applications and projects, like for example, agile methodologies (kanban, scrum, etc). I've made a workshop of Design Thinking and I've heard of MoSCoW method (must, should, could, won't) too.

As of your experience, what techniques do recommend me would work better for Qlik implementations?

It'd be really useful for me.

Thank you!

Hi,

The best methodology to work on a Reporting/Analytics environment is Agile. You can also consider Scrum depends on the requirement (I usually recommend Scrum  for OneTime Ad-Hoc projects or some project has a very complex data structure that needs a lot of inputs from other teams across the project/Globe)

to perform better agile you need a proper tracking tool (Mandatory ) to monitor the requirements.

I use my inbox as my tracking tool. but there are good tools available with paid and free licenses.

try read the below document before you take your call on the methodology.

Qlik project methodology handbook v 1.0 docx

Thanks,

Varun

Hey Micro,

I've worked on QlikView / QlikSense and Nprinting 16,17 from last 3 years and I was part of several projects. Some of those projects were used Scrum and Moscow methodologies. As per I know we choose team methodology as per our requirements. All above-mentioned methodology works fine in BI. Choosing Best BI Team Methodology is totally on your requirement.

Hope this is helpful.
