I have a setup tab on my QVW with several buttons. Is there a way to align them properly other than by eye?
The alignment functions don't seem to work on buttons - you can't multi-select them.
Any ideas?
thanks

So to summarize:
Shiftclicking works with caption turned on (shiftclick on caption), also actually with caption turned off (with impediment that actions on buttons are being executed), so with latter but an area selection is the more efficient way.

Multiselection works on buttons too, however you might have to select them through an area select, not by shift clicking, unless you turn on caption in which case shiftclicking on that will also work.
Hi
You can multiselect buttons holding the shift key. Then the auto-align also works.
You can, but all the actions on the buttons if there are any are being executed and you have to wait until one action is done before you can shift click the next button.
Simply draw a rectangle around all the buttons (click/hold, drag) then right click on one of the buttons for the alignment options.

Gordon

I had already defined the actions on the buttons, so they kept wanting to execute.
What worked for me was to turn on Captions on all of the buttons, then multi select via shift click.
Then the alignment functions worked, and i was also able to turn off the caption property en masse.
I also found that I could do much of this via the X-Pos/Width and Y-Pos / Height to standardize the sizing, but it sure is nice to use the "Space evenly" feature.
Thanks much...
