Performance Issue:
How to analyse an performance issue in the mentioned scenario.Trying to access the QVW file in the desktop and the CPU usage and PF usage is less than 15%. But the qlikview objects are taking more than 10 min to calculate. Any suggestions i have checked the Application optimization techniques but still no use. Either in accesspoint or at the desktop it is taking too much time to calculate.
using nested variables? pivot tables that are fully expanded? too many dimensions? too many moving parts tothe expression? all those can contribute to it.
how many rows of data are you displaying? would be better to put a calculation condition to allow some selections to narrow the data down and then show results.
Thanks for your response.
We have tried with restriction. But still the same problem. As the server resource is more than enough and CPU,PF usage is very low.
Yes we are using variables and labels. It is not pivot table but has multiple dimension and expression, also data size is huge.Is it going to impact the performance delay to 10 min.
I didnt get what is meant by moving parts in expression? Let me know i will check for it in my application.
multiple dimensions is the problem along with multiple expressions... any calculated dimensions? they take up a lot of time.
post your chart only in a temp qvw here and i can check it
How to identiy which dimension/expression to take more time to calculate. Will the mem file help us or we need to do a manual evaluation
manual only. if there is calculated dimension try to remove it and put it in script.
Thanks for your response. i am having lot of objects .Let me check and update
