Any way to check how much RAM and CPU utilized by each app in the Qlik server ?

we optimized certain apps and want to down scale the server RAM and CPU now based on the max utilization...

we have around some 70 Qlik apps running on the server daily which includes Extractors , transformation apps and UI apps.

we tried to configure the governance dashboard to check our Qlik investiment but its not showing app wise RAM and CPU consumption.

using windows task manager we can check the consumption by running each app manually but which is tedious task.

Can any suggest the best method to get these stats....??

Use the "App Metadata Analyzer" App that's been around since the Sep 2019 release. You can see RAM usage by app (and by table and field).

Note that there are variables in the Data Load script you almost certainly need to edit before it'll load data. E.g. if your central node is using a non-standard HTTPS port, you'll need to reflect that in the "vu_central_node_host_name" variable.

FYI: The above App is one of the ones you have to manually import (and update) that are found at  C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps     It doesn't use QLogs, so you don't have to have "Centralized Logging" turned on, but you need it for some of the other Apps in that folder. (Go here if you haven't done that yet, and want to.)

Sorry, none that I'm aware of. Qlik's docs on the App don't indicate how you get the .qvf files prior to the Sep 2019 version, but they indicate the App should work back to version June 2018, so that's at least positive.

If it were me, I'd first check around the install folders I presently have access to in order to see if it's located at a different path. Then, after a minute of 'Net searches, I'd just go download the latest version of QlikSense I have access to, install it to a VM, and get the files from there.

I could technically just attach my version's .qvf to this post, but I'm pretty certain that would be in violation of some licensing agreement I've clicked through, somewhere.

I'm using Enterprise edition so your option of download of the latest version will cost in upgrading qlik if I understand correctly, that's a bit drastic.

Any chance that this is the app?
