App displays in Qlikview but not on Server through AccessPoint


Hopefully this makes sense:

I have an app (290+ MB) that opens in Qlikview 11 with no problem. I've created a task to publish it on the Server, did it, and I see the thumbnail.  I click on the thumbnail, and after it has loaded, I see the standard top menu and nothing in the body of the app.  I just tried to publish a smaller app to the Server and after clicking on that thumbnail, it opened with no problem.  Also I have an app of similar size out there already that opens with no problem, so I'm not sure why this new app is not opening on the server.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey Torino,

Some times it might take some time to display all the objects. I have seen similar cases where the top menu will appear first but for the objects to display it would take some time. Just give it a few minutes and see.

Over 15 minutes has passed, and the only thing that has happened is every 2-3 minutes a "Lost Connection" message appears on the screen.  Can't imagine it would take this long to load.

Getting lots of "Connection Lost" messages may point to a QliikView Server running out of memory. Check memory usage in task manager on your server machine.

Yeah something else seems to be going on here. I can suggest a few things. Just give them a shot.

  • Try different browsers
  • Try downloading the app and open it on your desktop and see if it works
  • Try 'Open in Server'  option through Qlikview desktop

This might help in narrowing down where the issue is.
