Autoactivate playback of charts?

Scenario:

Let's say I have two charts Plotting GDP vs. Country and the playback axis is Year.  Both charts are identical and use the same data source EXCEPT chart 1 uses all years (1950 - 2011) whereas chart 2 uses a range within that (say 2000 - 2011).

Question:
When I hit "Play" on Chart 1, is it possible to autoactivate the playback on Chart 2 when the year on Chart 1 reaches year 2000 ?

Alternatively, when the Playback variable is being Played (the Year variable in above scenario), is it possible for other list boxes and other charts to update according to the curent year that is being "Played"?
