Autogeneration of a number at front end

How to generate a auto number at front end in qlikview?

I tried rowno() but its not working...

any other function?

Have you try to generate autonumber with any aggregation field?

my expression is =rowno() as SNo at Frond End in Report Dimension

Hi have you tried with aggr function like

aggr(Rowno(),Your key field)

alike this

=aggr(RowNo(),CustomerKey) //here CustomerKey is my key field used in report

I have clearly mentioned, I am using it at Front end not back end my dear!!!!!!!
