Automatic URL redirect

Hi all,

do you know if there's a way to get an automatic redirect to a "SecondDoc.qvw", as soon as the user open "FirstDoc.qvw" via Access Point?

Many thanks,

Federica

Add the action "Open QlikView Document" to the "OnOpen" trigger. For that, go to Setting --> Document Properties... --> Triggers.

Disclaimer:

Since I have no access to an active Access Point, I could not check this myself.

Thanks for the answers.

I can't find Open QlikView Document / Open URL option on my trigger actions.

On my client I have this situation:

Apparently the action does exist and is allowed for buttons (which is where I use it) but not on loading a document.

Return question:

Why would you want to open the second document when opening the first? Wouldn't the solution be to simply not offer / show the first document and tell your users to just use the second document?

Good question

This is my situation:

on the Access Point I have few hundreds of qvw published, but only one of them has to be visible (browsable).

The remaining have to be accessible from the users, but not visible on the Access Point.

I can set the visibility of these qvw through "Mounted Folder" option on the QMC.

Plus to this, there's also a Section Access that sets the default qvw for each user.

So I would like to redirect the user to his own qvw (not browsable on A.P.) as soon as he opens the "main" qvw (browsable on AP).
