Background color in dimension

Hi guys,

is it normal that it's not possible to have a background color with the dimension set along the X-axis?

In this example I set the LightRed() as the background color of the Anno dimension, but it's visible only if I Set the dimension in the first image and not if I set it as the second one.

Is there a workaround to avoid it?

Thank you so much.

N.

One option is you change color by custom format cell

For this go to User Preference -> Design  tab -> Check "Always Show Design Menu Items"

Once you do this and apply settings.

Right click on the dimension and check for the option "Custom Format Cell"

Here select the background you want and also change the font color.

Here You can right click on the object(Straight table),This means Right click on the particular cell in object --->Custom Format cell-->Apply background color as you want.

the custom format cell enable only after you pick User Preference -> Design  tab -> Check "Always Show Design Menu Items"

...it seems to be a good suggestion, but it doesn't work properly:

I choose the dimension (the day, not the year), select the "backgorund color" option, select "Calculated" to insert my formula:

=If(IdAttivitaPresenza<>Null(),If(Weekday(DataPresenza)=6,$(ColDomenica),If(Weekday(DataPresenza)=5,$(ColSabato),$(ColFeriale))))

click OK

But when I click OK to close the above windows, my formula has been lost

😞
