Good day,
We want to use a background image.
When working in QV client, this works ok.
No matter the resolution or zoom, both objects & background resize in same proportion.
Problem is when we publish to Accesspoint.
At this point, images size differently from normal objects, resulting degraded layout.
I've tried several options: !
Use background image
no stretch, left, top
keep aspect, left, top
Use text oject
no stretch, left, top
keep aspect, left, top
Tried both with JPEG & PNG
Tnx, karel
Tnx Reddy,
After some trials & errors i found the following:
Sheet Background doesn't work, will always scale as far as i can tell.
But when using a text box with image, it does work if you use the following settings for the text box:
Properties - General
Layout:
left-top-keep aspect
Background:
left-top-keep aspect
(confusion came in part because very high brightness of QV admin desktop screen, because of this it appeared that the image height was cropped when using 'Keep aspect'. Actually is was a soft grey, but not visible due to bridgtness )
Hi Karel,
try setting the Background Image as the 'Sheet BackGround' and not as a text box.
Regards
Andy
Hello Andrew,
I've already tried this.
Both when i use it as sheet-background, or as text box background does the issue occur.
can u try to use text object with image and set that text object position as Bottom from layout tab and see?
