Bar Chart Colors standardization

Hi,

I'm creating 2 bar chart.

How can i make the bar in both chart to use tally color?

For example, first bar=green, second bar=blue, etc.. for the both charts.

Has anyone done anyhting like that?

On the colours tab, check the box marked Persistent Colours, this should ensure that colours are the same for repeated dimension values.

Thanks for the info, it works! I mean, it's already checked for both charts and i did a few more checks, those bars in 2 charts are actually tally. Does Persistent color work accross different chart as long as they are showing the same value?

If it does, QV is really magical then...

Yeah, it works on all charts showing the same dimension values on the same sheet, I'm not sure about across multiple sheets as we restrict our apps to a single sheet so you might want to test that part.

I think QV got potential. it'd be the next big thing to BI industry. 🙂
