Bar Chart: Highlight months beyond the selected month in a different colour?

Hi all,

I have a Bar Chart that shows values by Month Year.

The bar chart is static but I want to show months beyond the selected month in a different colour.

So for example the bar chart shows sales and forecast for entire 2017. If I select March 2017, then April 2017 onwards all the bar colours should be in Red. Jan, Feb, March should be in Blue.

Any idea how to do this?
