Guys, good morning.
I am still having issued with maps in the company. I was asked if I know some solution where is it possible to display maps, that no connection with the internet is needed.
Can someone tell me if there is such thing for Qlikview? Is it expensive to have it? Can someone show me or post some example here?
Maybe this is what you need: GeoQlikTM, l’extension cartographique pour QlikView, développée par Business Geografic
It is not cheap, I don't know the prices, and don't have examples...
Regards,
Michael

Hi Julio,
Depends on your requirements.
I think it's gonna be hard to use real maps without using the Internet.
On an less detailed level you could consider the excellent SVG Map:

Having map view without internet connection?
the simple solutions i can think of is, have an image of the map in the background of your chart and then plot the points on top of it. The only drawback of this approach is, when users make selections, the map would not zoom in. And when you are asking for a map without connection i would suggest you can convince your users that without connection only a high level view is available and if they have the connection then they can see the map update dynamically. and to detect if they have the connection or not, you can use a button on UI which could say update map views and set the variable on press.
