Bins / Data Ranges within Qlikview?

Hello, I am trying to set up a fairly simple example to see the frequency of data within given ranges of data.

Please see attached .qvw file:

I have data for 500 basketball players and am trying to see the frequency of players by:

Point per game ranges (eg, 25-30, 20-25, 15-20)

Starting year (eg, 1985-1989, 1980-1985, etc)

I have seen Qlikview dashboards that use binning to do this, but am not sure how to pull it off.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

qliktastic

You should study the Class() function which should work for you.

Have a look here:

Class function

And Google youtube for "Class() function QlikView" too....
