Bookmark update when field changes

Hi All,

The bookmark does not get updated when there is any change in the field.

sometimes it vanishes.

What are the things i need to make sure, my bookmark gets updated when field changes.

or how to manage the bookmark when there is a change.

Add a Replace Bookmark action to the OnSelect trigger of the field and specify the bookmark ID of the bookmark you want updated.

1. You said, add a replace bookmark action to onSelect Trigger of the field. What if there are more than one field changes.

Can you elaborate little bit please ?

2. One more clarification i have, what if Copy paste .qvw file, will this affect the existing bookmark?

The User, through access point creates a bookmark!!! When we rename one of the field belongs to the bookmark and host the application again to Production and when user tries accessing the same bookmark he already created, it does not show in the changed field.

What shall i suggest the user to make use of the bookmark options.?

The only thing the user can do is recreate the bookmark. If you rename fields then user bookmarks, which are kept on the server and not in the document, can't find the field anymore. Changing the document won't also modify the user objects that are kept on the server.
