Hello,
I had to learn recently, that the layout information of pivot-Tables (e.g which characteristic is displayed in lines or columns) is not stored in a bookmark (despite checking the "Include Layout State").
The only "solution" for this I could find in the forum was, that the users should clone the pivot-table and change it in their user context:

Does anyone know a better way to work around this "missing feature"?
Kind regards
Philip Munz
o.k. Solution found.

What version are you using? The functionality seems to have disappeared for us in 11.20 SR7 and SR8. It was working for us before. Thanks!
Hi Bernard
any new Information about this? The same for us, layout state is not stored in Bookmarks for Pivot tables. We are using 11.2 SR8.
Do you have Information that this is resolved in either SR9 or SR10?
Kind regards - Marcel
Hi Marcel,
We've just upgraded from SR2 to SR9, and have encountered this issue so I think it still exists. Not sure if SR10 resolves this.
Kind Regards
Darrell
Thank you Darrell
we have setup a ticket and QV created a case.
I find no Information in SR9 and SR10 Release documentation.
If you clone the object and create a Bookmark, the Dimension ordering in the clone persists.

Hello Marcel,
what's the case number? There is a similar one here, which you may vote for:
