Button - Selection

I want to create a button that when someone clicks on it it will only show the trading stores that we have based on the following rules:-

count({<Store_Status={'Active'},Store_Type={'POP','Airport','Trading Store','Head Office & Trading Store'}>}Store_Status )

The above is a copy and paste from an expression however how do I use this on a button, that is what ACTION do I perform e.g. macro or variable and how do I do this?

Is this possible at all?

one solution could be field selection actions triggered by the button click:
