Calender Object

Hi All,

I am using calender object for selecting the date.How ever the reqirement is if user selects any date in a particular week automatically selection should move to start of the week i.e sunday.Please suggest me how to do this?

Please check the attached images

In Img1 i selected 28 Apr 2013 in calender which is a sunday and has data

In Img2 I selected 17 Apr 2013 in calender which is not a sunday and doesn't have data.However the requirement is selection should automatically move to the sunday of that week i.e  14 Apr 2013.

I think no need to use the trigger which you have mentioned,

I am using the same field in the calender but it is displaying all the dates for the selection.That is the problem

Thats how its defined by default.

It will show dates between minimum of that field  and Maximum of that field.

But It won't allow to select irrelevant date..

In my case  calender is allowing to select all the dates even though data is there for only sundays.Please check the above attached images in this discussion.

Please let me know if any other information is needed.

Sorry i couldn't share my document,

Your right that calender won't allow to select irrelevant date.My reqirement is if the end user selects some irrelevent date selection should automatically move to the relevent date i.e sunday(start of every week in which data is present)

Is it possible in qlikview?

Yes..

By default thats should happen.. If end user try to select irrelevant date (Any client) then it will automaticaly

select last availabe date (less than date which he tried to select)..

But that is not happening in my application
