Can I create an independent object?

Let me fine tune my question.

Say, I have two table box(T1 & T2) and some other objects in my sheet. Is it possible to avoid reflection of the selection made in one table box to another table box but I dont care for other objects?

Point:

T1 and T2 should be independent i.e. my selection of row in T1 should not reflected in T2.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi,

Just to add my two-pence, I would create a straight table as others have suggested with an expression of:

Sum({1} 1)

In the Presentation tab you can choose to hide the expression column.

Then, selections on the document will not effect this table.
