Can i connect to oracle views and extract data . ??

Hi,

Is is possible to connect to an oracle view and read data from a view in qlikview.

Yes, that is possible. It is even possible for any RDBMS to which QlikView can connect. To the left of the Select... dialog that offers you to assemble SQL SELECT statements, select Views as source object type instead of Tables. If there are any suitable Views present in your current database, they will be listed in the overview called 'Database Tables'.

If you have read permission to the views for the User Id using which to connect to Oracle db, then yes you can read them.

if you can't connect you might need to install an odbc driver for windows.
