Can not Open Help file

Hi

I can not open help file when i open it and have dialogbox " failed to launch help"

please help me

Hi,

i have the same problem, if i tried to open the help in the skript editor.

A workarround is to select a keyword and type F1. Not all keywords are working. In this case i write "text", select it and type F1.

Hi,

Have you tried to open the help file out of the Qlikview ?  The help files are in the folder where Qlikview was installed, in my case the English.chm help file is in the folder: C:\Program Files\QlikView\.

It's not the best answer but can you try to reinstall qv desktop?

Hi,

same here, "Failed to launch help."

Re-installing the latest version of the qlikview desktop (x86, 11.20, SR5) did not solve the problem.

Hi Gift

I had the same issue and fixed it by installing the Language Support in the QlikView install options. Seems if you do not install ALL the languages you do not get any help files.

So run the QV install and select modify and install the Language Support or uninstall and do a complete reinstall and help should work.
