Can not set static step x-axes line chart

I have a line chart with one dimension and multiple expressions.

When I set static step for x-axes nothing changes, all values are displayed.

I don't know if it makes any difference but there is no checkbox to select advanced mode in the expression tab.

I am using Qlikview april 2019 SR1

his is the case when you are given y as a function of x, and asked to solve for the points where y takes a certain value (often zero). If instead you were given x as a function of y, you could do the same thing, but now your solutions would lie on the y-axis. But for some reason, the convention that people use most often is that y depends on x. Really, though, 'x' and 'y' are just names that could be swapped out for any other symbols.

I am sorry, but I don't understand what you mean.

In my case the x-value is a weeknumber, so the Y-value is not a function of x (?)

When I swap x and y, and the static step is still not possible for the new x, things would even become worse.
