Can't search user and group in qmc

Can't search user and group in qmc . I am not able to search a user whenever I tried to apply the CALs using Qmc

e.g. I tried searching a user named aman ,it give no result when I click on search

From your selected user list, it seems you have added these users.

It might be possible that *aman* does not exist into that list or directory.

Try to search any other user...

Even if user exits in the list it should display the user while search, I worked with many users

You can manually add this user amen in the below tab

manula input of user names like

amen;

Hi,

Two things here

1) If this is the new user you created I would request you to restart directory service.

2) make sure directory(local/Active directory) password is not expired.

If you are using AD as a directory service, try searching for the AD accountname instead of the Full name.

Is it just this user, or are you unable to find any user at all?

In QMC, check whether the Active Directory DSC line has a red asterisk in front of the pencil icon. Hover over it to see what it tries to tell you.
