Can we replicate Fast type change like property for chart by using Qlikview Button ?

Hi ,

Can we replicate Fast type change like property for a chart by using Qlikview Button ?

I have created a button and i want to achieve a functionality that we user presses it
1) For First Time it should show data in with Line chart

2) For First Time it should show data in with Bar chart

3) For First Time it should show data in with Pie chart

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

If the same functionality is available why would you like to use the button.

And if you want to use the button, it might be possible with macro, but i wont suggest that. Instead I would say create 3 charts, each of for each type. Then use the button to hide and show them as per their clicks.

with button , you need to make use of 3 different charts and based on the button click you need to hide and show the charts ..

Thanks for reply ..

But that is something which BA asked me because the end consumer wants it like that ... I guess fast type change is just too small for them ..

I have already used conditional hide .. but wanted to double check ..

Any sample with Macro will be highly helpful .

I wanted to implement Without using conditional hide on single chart ..

in same chart its not possible , you could check for the macro

In that case a container containing your 3 desired objects might be an option

No .. I wanted it to be operational on single chart ..

In the same chart that's not possible , only way to do that is to use the Macro and change the chart type via macro ..that is the only to do it in the same chart

Hope this helps you
