Capturing the Search Object Output

Hi All,

Is there any way (without Macro) that its possible to capture how many results are found when we search by using Search Object. Mainly when its shows no result found, can we store this NO RESULT FOUND to any variable?

=GetFieldSelections(field name)

in the search object properties-->text in search field
