Hi,
I would like to insert a condition in the dimension of a chart.
In the attached example i have used "=if(TYPE=1,DEVICE)"
Everything works fine in the first chart where i set the EXPRESSION = POWER. I can see just the line that i want
In the second chart i set the EXPRESSION = "Sum(POWER)" and i can see 2 lines:
- one is fine (the same of the first chart) that is the sum of power where TYPE = 1
- the other is the sum of the power that have TYPE != 1
I don't want represent that line. How can i do ?
Are there better way of doing all this ?
Thanks.
What you are seeing is the NULL value for all those tows where your condition is FALSE. You can suppress the NUL values with the check box on the Dimensions tab: "Suppress when the value is null".

Select 'Suppress When Value is Null' for your second dimension (If(TYPE = 1, DEVICE))
