Clubbing multipls QVWs in a single QVW

Hi,

I have QVWs with different data model and visualizations.  I want a single qlikview with buttons/something to call each qlikview.  Is there a way to integrate all QVWs in one QVW?

Yes

U can call all the other QVW files in one file

Create button and provide the action

Also you can call the qvw file using binary load

Thank you!  Your first suggestion works but I have another question now -

I created the button with an external action in the first/main tab.  It opens the QVW but if I want to come back to the main tab and click another button, it's not very intuitive.  I had to minimize to get back to the original tab.  How can we handle this?

Create another button where you opened the QVW file and put the similar action you will come back....

Hi Sudha,

By using buttons, we can call more than one document:

Add a button (or text box) and add an action to it. Below are two options:

1. 1. Choose action type 'External' and select action 'Open Qlikview Document'. Next enter the document name you want to open and check the Transfer State option. If the document you want to open isn't in the same directory you'll have to add a path to the document name.

Or

1. 2. Choose action type 'External' and select action 'Open URL'. Next enter the URL of the document you want to open.

Binary load – we can call only one document in the script(Data and Access permissions) not layout.
