Color() function ignores calculated colors?

Hello, I have an 18-Color palette that I use for my charts and each color has a calculation condition using a variable that contains an RGB() value. Under one of my chart's expressions tab, I have a background color expression that uses Color(). I'm finding that when I use this, it is setting the expression color according to the fixed value instead of the calculated value. For instance, if the second color in the color palette has a value of rgb(25,125,177) and a calculated value set to equal a variable (vColorPaletteColor2) which in-turn equals rgb(92,146,70), then when I set my bar's background color expression to equal Color(2), it uses the fixed value even though I have the calculated value checked. Is there a way that I can use Color() to get the calculated value instead?
