Is it possible to make a pivot table where I combine the first dimension with a variable that is not connected to another dimension?
Currently I have three dimensions: Company name, Key ratio and Year.
Right now, my table looks like this:
Company | Key Ratio | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 |
---|---|---|---|---|
A | PE | 15x | 13x | 11x |
A | PB | 1,5x | 1,2x | 0,9x |
B | PE | 14x | 11x | 5x |
And so on...
I would like to create a table that looks like this:
Company | Key Ratio | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 |
---|---|---|---|---|
A variable1 and variable2 | PE | 15x | 13x | 11x |
A | PB | 1,5x | 1,2x | 0,9x |
B variable1 and variable2 | PE | 14x | 11x | 5x |
Variable1 and variable2 is only connected to dimension "Company".
What are the VAriables you created Var1 , Var 2?
Var1 is the reqired return for the company and Var2 is the potential return. Both Var1 and Var2 is retrived from separate excel sheets. I was thinking about a way to do it in excel: ="DIV @ "&TEXT(R[20]C[1];"0,00") will show DIV @ 22,00 and I want to do something similar in QlikView so i get Company A: 14,5% & 60%
I think I would create additional fields from the variables and then combining those fields within the script or within gui.
